Monet's Garden Pond
This oil is inspired by photographs taken by the artist while walking around the gorgeous gardens at Monet's home in Giverny. It is no wonder that Monet produced so many beautiful paintings - his garden was visual eye candy everywhere we looked. This is a view of the pond with lilypads and, if you look closely, even includes a spider web. It is 22 1/4 " x 18 1/4" framed in a gold crackle floater frame. Like most Dundore original oils, the image is continued on all of the edges. The floater frame allows these painted edges to be seen. This painting can be purchased for $370.00. It is available in the STORE page.
